My name is Katherine Lazarus. I’m an actor and improviser, I also direct and produce. 

   

Born and raised in Levittown, NY.  I developed a love of theater and performing at a young age. I received my BFA from Adelphi University and I have trained extensively in improv and improvisational theater. 

 

At Adelphi, I discovered new ways to hone and explore my craft and develop an even greater love of theater. I also studied in London at LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art), focusing on Shakespeare's romances and comedies and Jacobean tragedy. In my improvisational career, I've had the opportunity to work and train with some of improv's greatest including Scotty Watson (Second City Toronto), Gary Austin (Founder of the Groundlings), and David Razowsky (Second City).

 

Currently, I perform weekly with my Tank Armory house team Falcon Toss. I am also the head writer and director of

 The Armory Sketch program.
